Once again from the triple hitter at the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois we have another edition of Rampage. After that horrible ending from Dynamite especially with the situation with Daffney, I lost a bit of enthusiasm for wrestling in general. So I really needed a better show, especially considering this was their go home…

This was the first taped episode of Rampage coming from the same arena that Dynamite this past Wednesday was broadcast from in UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That gave the episode a little less dynamic of a feeling but AEW is starting to ramp up their PPV for All Out on September 5th.

Set at the United Center in Chicago Illinois, this possibly was AEW’s biggest and most anticipated event. We’ve had some tremendous debuts but the one happening on this night will be talked about for years to come. Why? The return of CM Punk to pro-wrestling!
