Imitation Game is today and stage 7 was not a problem. I managed to get some nice resources along the way and even one upgrade. I think I forgot to mention but now both bases are well into level 73, where other level 73s are starting to appear on the map as well.
The big upgrade I received was on my secondary account where I started one of the two Shock Launchers. Pretty much I wasn’t close enough to the Rocket Launcher for an upgrade, having fallen short. But getting a Shock Launcher prepared for Monday will be big. My main account did start the 4th max level Rocket Launcher yesterday and by the end of the weekend possibly can start a Shock Launcher as well. Perhaps, tomorrow I will open all my Trader Tickets and get some big resources since I have over 70 tickets remaining.
Warships season 28 is getting painful. My main account is encountering very thick bases with everything nearly maxed out for 4ER and it’s just by luck I might get a terrible player. But I did manage to get a win for enough rank 4 for my Rocket Launchers. It won’t make a huge difference for now, but this will prepare me once I start grinding for 5ER. Pretty much I’m grinding out keys to get not only the 5ER node but the Shock Mine node too. By the time I arrive at that point, I should also have enough upgrade tokens to max out Shock Mines and be ready to start taking on 5ER. Then it’s a matter of either getting to Building Damage, which is cheaper, or Incinerators. Again my gut instinct is telling me that Incinerators are the play in 5ER for a tank player like myself just because I’ll eventually need to unlock Troop Damage. So with all this investment into getting keys and preparing, I should have enough to max out Incinerators when I’m ready. I can always go back for Building Damage.
Once I get those nodes, I’m probably going to pick up the Doom Cannon. Artillery looks tempting but I doubt it’s as good as reaching Heavy Choppa. So I’ll probably wait a bit while loading up on upgrade tokens while farming keys and trying to break into 6ER. Then I can also finish upgrading Heavies just before reaching Heavy Choppa and swap my load out over.
My main account got to Rank 14. Not sure how long I’ll stay though. Right now, I’m just trading wins almost. It’s getting to the point where it feels almost hopeless until I get out of 4ER. But I think 5ER will be more miserable against good Seeker players. But the positive is that both of my bases will have tons of defenses and be ready to handle Seekers, I believe.
