Made a good mixture of progress on both accounts today. My main account scored two very large crate rewards which puts me closer to Armory level 24. If anything, I will be ready for the Mega Crab in getting my Armory upgraded.
My secondary account received pretty mediocre rewards. But I’m mostly trying to upgrade resource storage spaces in preparation for the Mega Crab and any Classified Items that I can potentially use. I figure I should have more than enough resources for an Armory 23 upgrade on that account after Mega Crab weekend. But I do need to be careful to have enough space for things like Gold as I ran close to filling it up today.
The other major point of progress was doing Full Monty as my Operation strike. It was quite easy to solo although I did screw up and ended up losing a single Grenadier after flaring my guys too close to a Flame Thrower and not realizing how much damage that was causing. Nonetheless, the coming rewards should be pretty substantial with better Diamonds, etc. which I will need as I continue pushing my upgrades.
Dr T was more difficult than usual and I ended up skipping out on level 6. Too many shored Boom Cannons and normal Cannons which would easily shred my tanks up. Even with another couple of GBE statues, I think it wouldn’t be enough to pull off an attack with Grank-Medics.
I’m sure if I did another combination like Warriors or Smokey Hookas, I could easily take down the base. It’s just that I’m not a fan of either play style.
Either way, I felt that the rewards today weren’t worth spending 300+ Diamonds to rush my Sculptor’s completion. Tomorrow might be a better option since I’ll be close to finishing up the level 9 version on my main account. Also, Dr T’s Volcano Island has far better resources and tends to be easier to clear for Grank-Med attacks.
