With the last season ending and a new one beginning, I decided to use my Rune of Gold for my TH10 to fast forward to TH11. The idea of having Electro Dragons and the Grand Warden seemed too good to pass up and getting every little defense upgraded was becoming too tedious. Not to mention, I was getting sick of using pure Dragons as my TH10 attack strategy and figured it was time to move up a bit.
Now, with double TH11 accounts, I am in strange spot because more than anything I really would love to get access to siege weapons but just am not in a position of pushing my main account to TH12 just yet. There’s too many defenses left not to mention a huge number of walls still left at level 10 where I feel that another season of grinding will put me close enough to where perhaps just before this new season ends, I should have enough to get that TH12.
The good news is that my Grand Warden on that account is fully upgraded to level 20 while my Archer Queen is getting to 48. I don’t think it’ll be a problem hitting level 50 for her before this season ends and that might even include without the use of the Rune of Dark Elixir. So once she’s out of the way, the rest will go to troops and my Barbarian King.
One thing that royally sucks about when a season ends is that the grind to the 20% cost reductions is tedious. I already have unlocked 10% cost reduction but to get even the 15% requires almost another week of achievements from the next set of bonuses.
For my recent TH11, I ended up having way too many resources and just not enough Builders available to use them. So for now, I put up a one week shield while my guys finish up. I pushed my Grand Warden to level 5 just to unlock his special ability. But once my builder is done with him, I’ll probably start upgrading one of the Army Camps. I spent a good chunk of resources the other day upgrading most of my walls except for the newest ones. And I would like to make use of my Archer Queen once another builder becomes free.
After that, the next major upgrades will probably be the resource storage units. It really hurts not being able to attack just because my storage units are too full. I feel like doing any battle is just a waste even though the season achievements are now lagging.
On the bright side, I did start my Clan Castle upgrade which means +1 to spells along with the Eagle Artillery in terms of major things I plopped down. I would do another level for my Eagle Artillery but I need to get those resource storage units upgraded. Since it’s not the most useful defense mechanism, I could also wait until I obtain the Rune of Gold and just use that later on or wait until I get the +20% cost reduction to make the level 2 upgrade much cheaper.
Also, I had upgraded my laboratory so I could start up my Electro Dragons upgrade. That felt really good but there’s just too many things that I need from there. I probably will grab Dragons next just because I use them for the Clan Castle or Barbarians for my Barbarian King. Eventually, I might do the Lightning spell but for now I prefer Raged Electro Dragons as my primary attack force.
At any rate, I’m looking forward to getting some good upgrades this season. I’m really hoping that my main account hits TH12 towards the end though. Those siege weapons look incredibly tasty and would be great to help feed my newer TH11.
