TH11 is such a weird spot in Clash of Clans. It’s at that point where things get really difficult and that certain needs a few key items that are out of reach. For instance, I’ve been doing the Ice Golem + Bowlers + Witches strategy and having some difficulty because I lack the Wall Wrecker to funnel my troops through a base. Or I have problems because I need more spells to pull off a few attacks that is impossible without donations, which means getting normal Elixir becomes a pain.
Right now, without Wall Wreckers, the most effective attack for me is Electro Dragons. I do have a few Balloons I drop but those get taken down pretty quickly. While I can use Goblins for farming Elixir, etc. I find that they are painful to use. Also, doing the Sneaky Goblin thing is costly and you have to be in the right frame of mind to do it right.
At any rate, I started to level my Grand Warden to 17, which leads me to believe that I can get him to at least 19 by the end of the season, maybe even further with some Diamonds. Also, I decided to use gold to work on some walls. Nothing great but it’s one of those things I figured needs to get done so might as well do them while waiting for other upgrades to finish. Then I might just use my Electro Dragons to get my daily victories since tomorrow I should be able to get the highly valuable +20% Builder Boost from the season.
I did also start my Barbarian King to level 42 which means my Archer Queen is the only hero I have available. I think she’s far more valuable than my Barbarian King especially with Electro Dragons since I can use her to do a small walk and take out some defenses before sending in the cavalry.
I do have quite a bit of upgrades finishing today on my Builder Base. But I won’t be able to upgrade anything for at least a day which might be good. I plan on going for the Boxer Giant upgrade tomorrow to level 16 which will give me the big +1 to my Army Camp. That’s going to be an enormous boon just because it’ll keep my survival up. The last two upgrades for Boxer Giants aren’t as spectacular but they will give them some much needed health boosts.
Also, I’m aiming for a Firecrack level 8 sometime. It’s just very costly and will require battles daily unless I turtle the upgrade. It’s probably not the best upgrade I can get but I feel it’ll be good against the occasional air attack. Not to mention that I have 4 more after this one.
As far as my next iPad is concerned, I’m still waiting for the shipment. It’s obviously not coming today and they’re saying tomorrow. But I have my doubts even for then. I still can’t wait for it just because my current iPad is in such bad condition and everything moves slow while being unable to upgrade. It really makes me hate Apple overall for their strategies. Still, they’re better than Dell which isn’t saying much these days.
