Blizzard just dropped the next PTR 2.7 update announcement and I’m actually pretty excited for once. It’s a pretty huge overhaul to the Follower system and it’s something that I had been calling for a while now. Here are my initial impressions of the upcoming patch.

Diablo 3: Next Season Buff/Ideas
Diablo 3: Will I Play Season 11?
Season 11 started on Thursday rather than the usual Friday around 5pm. Since then I haven’t done anything to participate in the season thus far. Usually, a new season is when I feel most excited for Diablo 3 as there commonly is new content, especially this season with the Necromancer DLC. So what happened?
Recently, I gave the Unhallowed Essence Hellcat Waistguard build a go since a friend of mine had been playing it a bit. The main motivation was my friend describing the build as being quite tanky. After giving the build a shot, I will admit that he was right.
Diablo 3: Season 9 Evaluation
I haven’t really blogged on the topic of Diablo 3 for a while so I thought it might be good to talk about my current situation with the game, the few changes brought in this patch/Season and maybe looking forward a bit to the next season.
Since the PTR is out, I decided to give it a go and check out specifically the Darkening of Tristram event. I had seen Kripparian’s video where he posted a fairly scathing review and decided to see if it was worth his ire.
While the highly anticipated Diablo 4 or Diablo 3 expansion were not announced at Blizzcon 2016, the big news for Diablo 3 was a character pack for the Necromancer class. Earlier, it was “accidentally” unveiled of a poster showing a male and female Necromancer artwork on the Blizzard store, hinting at the possibility of an expansion. Instead, the wording was toned down (at least for expectations) for something called a character pack due for 2017.
Starting from scratch can either be a pain or a lot of fun depending on what your goal is during a new season. I like the idea of a fresh start because you get to try a few new things here and there as well as see the progress of a character with little to no help at all. But for the solo player, what are some good methods for leveling? If you’re looking for a post on reaching 70 super fast, this probably isn’t the best spot for you. On the other hand, if you want some basic tips on getting to 70 and grabbing your Seasonal set in a timely manner, this blog is suited for you.
Typically, for Marauders builds these days, you’ll see the M6 pairing with Focus/Restraint (Bastion of Will), Manticore, Wraps of Clarity and a few other key items. While this build is high in damage, it has a few issues in vulnerability when sentries are not up, is resource intensive and slow. So I want to present a slight variation on the M6 build with an emphasis on using the Endless Walk ring/amulet in this alternative build.
Diablo 3: The Shadow Mantle Build
Although Season 8’s Haedrig Gift for Demon Hunters will not be the Shadow Mantle set, I decided to goof around a little with this set and see what felt good in trying to come up with a reasonable build. This is by no means a meta build nor is it meant for ultra high Greater Rifts. But the build is something just for fun in case you get bored with other Demon Hunter builds.
