Diablo 3: Beyond Season 23 and Patch 2.7.0 Ideas

Patch 2.7.0 has been a real gift to the power gamer type with the upgrade to Followers as well as the new Emanate system. With that system in place, a lot more doors begin to open up that demonstrate future potential improvements to the game, even if the basic idea is the same loop. But this post discusses my own additions so that there’s more ways to use loot and how Diablo 3 can continue to be updated.

Completed Seasonal Journey For Season 23 of Diablo 3!

I woke up extra early this morning and felt the urge to finish up the season journey. The biggest challenge, sad to say, was the set dungeon. But I had an Invoker set ready to roll along with other supporting gear so I said what the hell.

Diablo 3: PTR Patch 2.7 Season 23 Initial Testing With Wizard Tal Rasha + Firebird Revamp

So I hopped on the PTR today a few times to give the new Firebird revamp a spin along with checking out the new changes for ones Followers. Initially, I thought that the Tal Rasha 5 piece + Firebird 3 piece would be good but I did encounter issues as I upped the difficulty level.

Diablo 3: Next Season Buff/Ideas

I mentioned this idea in the past but think it’s an interesting one considering that we now have seasonal buffs in Diablo 3. But I feel that for the next season there should be a buff that allows us to hire all three followers. Make the theme the season of followers.

Diablo 3: How to Potentially Solve the Solo vs Multiplayer Gap

Multiplayer will always have an advantage in Diablo 3 because fundamentally one of Blizzard’s core values is on the social aspect of gaming. Thus, playing in a group would (and probably should) exhibit clear benefits. But having a solid group in Diablo 3 also means gaining a massive advantage both in terms of items from loot sharing as well as being able to push higher into greater rifts. While I feel that the former issue really isn’t that huge of a gap, the issue of being able to push higher greater rifts can be a massive problem just because a group has more abilities to offset affects whereas the solo player has a limited number of abilities for survivability, etc. Even with shrinking the damage output of monsters and their life at higher greater rifts in solo play, it still really isn’t enough overall. So how can we mitigate this issue? Is it purely a mathematical issue?
