I decided to continue playing. With work being a little rough lately, I figured on avoiding any major expenses. Or any excessive expenses which includes games. So Last Epoch is off the radar until things stabilize in my life. Also, I wanted to see the Season 3 out and had a few key projects that I was working on. With that said, I want to talk about my current progress.
I got to level 85 on my Necromancer and ended up finding far better gear for other builds like Bone Spear or Blood Surge. And with leveling glyphs being painfully slow at the moment, I’m thinking of swapping to Blood Surge just because I have far better gear for that build and Bone Spear. Not to mention this current season doesn’t really emphasize bossing compared to AoE damage. So either builds would feel better than plain minion. Minion would be somewhat acceptable if that Son of Malphas just disappeared from the game as that thing is a real pain whenever he shows up in a Nightmare Vault.
With that, I ended up switching back to my Druid. Since I found a second pair of Tibaults, I gave them to my Druid and did a major swap in gear and a few skills. Immediately, there was a massive change and I managed to do a quick pair of runs against Duriel, one which yielded a precious Tempest Roar. With that piece of gear, I’m pretty much complete. From there, I started to level up my glyphs to 21 and have managed to get both Keeper and Earth and Sky to max level. On top of that, I got a little bored of running pure Vaults and started doing regular nightmare dungeons. Most felt fairly easy but I started doing 61-70 and have started to feel some pain in progression. Nonetheless, they’re still doable so I’ll continue with those just to switch things up.
On top of finding the precious Tempest Roar, I also found a X’Fal’s Corroded Signet. While it is a little late in the game for me to use that item, I might try it out on another character like my Rogue or Necromancer (Infinimist build). There’s a few other builds I’d like to try or at least change up how I played them from last time. In the case of my Necromancer, I wanted to either go for Bone Spear or Blood Surge. I think this season has the extremely rare Essence generation aspect in the Codex so it’ll be easier to gear. Also, I won’t have to worry as much about bosses which makes either build viable for me.
I still need to finish up my Barbarian too. I’m mainly lacking the Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty. So I might do some Duriel farming later. However, I would like to get my Rogue leveled up a bit more, at least into WT3. I haven’t played her in a bit and got sidetracked with other things. But I am looking at a few builds like Penetrating Shot, Barrage, etc. as Twisting Blade got nerfed.
Then there’s my Sorc, whom I put on the shelf. I take her out for World bosses to get her weeklies done. Other than that, I probably won’t play her much unless I find another Tibaults. I did see that Ball Lightning may have come back as a top tier build as a result potentially from the Vampiric Powers but that would mean I’d have to start leveling up more Glyphs, which frankly I have zero desire to do on her at the moment.
