Game of Thrones: Season 7 Episode 2 Stormborn Review

Stormborn picks up from the near dialogless ending from Episode 1 where Daenerys, Tyrion and the others plot Daenerys’ conquest of Westeros. We have an exterior shot showing a tremendous rain storm where Tyrion and Varys reflect upon Daenerys’ birth. Daenerys lacks patience over her desire to march forth and take back her birthright, but she too reminisces of the past, particularly her brother Viserys who she admits was an idiot and was led to believe how Varys and his friend Illyraio Mopatis fed him false information to make a return.

Game of Thrones: Will Cersei Play A Major Role in the War Against the White Walkers?

There’s a lot of speculation about how Cersei will die with the prophecy of the Valonqar commonly connecting her demise to Tyrion and possibly Jamie Lannister. One can only imagine that if she is killed by her brother, it’s because she’s pushed him to his limits in what he can accept from her, which might result in some horrific deed. With Season 7 Episode 1, we see that their relationship is shaky at best with Jamie not exactly trusting her. But what is her deal? And how will she react ultimately if and when she ever sees the undead?

Game of Thrones: Will Dragonstone Play A Role in the Future?

The ending for Game of Thrones Season 7 episode 1 in showing Dragonstone being a massive castle is one in which I do not think it being a coincidence. Although we have seen glimpses previously with Stannis occupying the keep, Season 7 seems to increasing the importance in having various characters spend a significant amount of time there with Daenerys making it the core of her operations to take back the Seven Kingdoms. Yet besides the Dragonglass that Samwell suspects the island to hold a great deal of, what else will Dragonstone be significant for in the upcoming seasons?

Game of Thrones: What Role Will the Mountain and Qyburn Play?

As the series is drawing closer to the end, there’s still many theories on the end game. In between all of that are how the pieces will fit together in eventually working themselves out. Two characters who have been somewhat silent (literally and figuratively) are the Mountain and Qyburn. I feel that both have an interesting possible role in Season 8, although this current season won’t really reveal much as of yet.

GLOW on Netflix Review

If you were a pro-wrestling fan during the 80s, it would be impossible to have missed GLOW in some format. Even if you weren’t into women’s pro-wrestling, at the very least, you may have encountered the anomaly that occurred for a brief stint that built up a sort of cult following and oddball subculture. So when Netflix announced that it was going to create a series around the federation, naturally someone like myself would be inclined towards giving it a shot.

Game of Thrones: The Jon Snow – Cersei Lannister Alliance That Probably Won’t Happen in Season 7

Since Season 7 is being filmed, there’s been various speculations/rumors that have popped up along with actual photos and short clips of people capturing a few key scenes. Over on Reddit, there is someone who claims to have dropped the major plot points (which I deconstructed earlier). A few other sites have picked up on these spoilers and claim that them as potentially being the real deal. Whether or not they come true to me is irrelevant because I want to propose what I feel should be a better plot than what these spoilers entail: the Jon Snow – Cersei Lannister alliance.
