Diablo 4 Season 10 Day 2 Results

I pushed my Sorcerer a bit more today with positive results. I had a few ideas to really improve my gear where I found some key upgrades. In addition, I started a new Druid that began as Companion but moved to Pulverize simply because it’s easier to play than Ravens after starting Torment.

First, the big grind for my Sorcerer was getting all her glyphs to at least level 46. This was a huge deal because it effectively gives her a wider radius on relevant nodes as well as key damage multipliers. Once I got her glyphs leveled up, I dropped my Torment level to 1 to fight Lilith with the idea that her last phase could be avoided altogether with enough damage. You still have to perform two of the other phases but not the dreaded final phase. As a result, I managed to secure the 2nd spark of the season, which in turn I utilized for crafting a mythic from the Blacksmith. Lo and behold my efforts paid off as I secured a coveted Ring of the Starless Skies with two Greater Affixes, one being Core Skills. So that alone has been a monstrous damage boon.

Next, I managed to find an Ophidian Iris for the leg slot (I believe). That’s a huge boost because you can change your Amulet slot to something else. Ironically, the only thing I had lying around was an ancestral Locran’s Talisman, which isn’t bad as it’s still a decent damage increase, even though ideally from what I’ve read a normal ancestral amulet is better for the Shredding Blades aspect. I just didn’t have a good ancestral lying around. In addition, I had a Crown of Lucion chaos armor for the gloves slot (or maybe it’s leg). Now, I’m just missing a Harlequin Crest (Shako) and a Shroud of False Death which would really put this build over the top. Lastly, I managed to find the Nagu rune which is tremendous for a Hydra Sorcerer. In having these items and hitting close to P200 (where I did end up later), I managed to be able to farm fairly comfortably. I did find an Andariel’s Visage, which isn’t really used by any build. However, I have been using it for leveling my Druid. While I’d still prefer a Shako in general, I think the Andariel’s Visage synergizes quite well with a Druid for the poison damage.

As for my Druid, I did manage to get him to level 60 and Torment. I’ll probably spend sometime leveling up a few of his glyphs as well as finding the last key ones. Since I am P200, I am able to fully utilize five boards and have all the glyphs in place. For now, I’ll probably stick with Pulverize until I can find a Kilt. The difficult aspect is that you need to get a chaos version, which is going to be very hard to farm. I might attempt to gamble the item and swap back if I can get it on the legs. Otherwise, I’ll probably continue playing Pulverize since it’s still fairly powerful.

I did get a chance to check out someone playing the auto shout barbarian. That one still seems like a very interesting one. Not as powerful as Sorc nor Druid but again the automation portion highly appeals to me.
