I'm getting close to finishing this game off, but it's got some nasty bugs. I got to the part where I'm supposed to kill Black Garius in a fight, but he keeps respawning. Apparently, it's some odd bug where the only solution is to restart the game. Sigh.
The other frustration is that this game's interface just plain SUCKS. The Matrix-style rotating camera is obnoxious at best. You're really limited in what you can see and do and worse yet, it gets constantly jammed. Not to mention it's clumsy and can drive you crazy from the various mishaps.
Maybe I'm just getting old but the games these days are just too complicated. Certainly, the graphics are vastly superior to the games from decades before, but interfaces seem to be compromised by these non-value added controls that seem to cater towards the new generation of movie goers who need special effects rather than good storylines and content.
I'm rather tempted not to play the follow up Mask of the Betrayer and save myself the mental grief of dealing with the disgusting interface.
