Indoctrinating Kids Into the Corporate World

I've seen people come into the corporate world and get slammed by the reality of the harshness that no university test can ever prepare one for.  However, I think either universities or mid to large sized corporations should have a standardized (Dogbert style) training program before an agreement is ever signed.  The course would involve showing kids the reality of work.  In some ways, this course would be designed kinda like how HR forces people to take sexual harassment training courses.  Here's some suggestions for material for the class:

- The new person must be allowed to pair up with someone who will eventually become their senior for about a month.  All activities must be logged on a daily basis.
- Pirates of Silicon Valley must be watched for entreprenuers entering the IT field.  A paper disclosing the themes must be written at around 10 pages.
- Everyone must watch Office Space and write a 10 page paper on the themes of the movie.
- Everyone must watch Swimming with Sharks and write a 10 page paper on the themes of the movie.
- Dilbert must be read on a daily basis.  A short, one paragraph blog must be written.  Any coincidental occurrences that happen between the cartoon and the activities of that day must be explored in a full page paper, relating the cartoon in depth to the occurrence.
- Scott Adam's book "The Way of the Weasel" must be read and some acts inside must be practiced with and against the person's senior they are paired with.
- The new graduate must explore the internet to discover all related articles on the prospective employer.  Websites like jobvent.com and fuckedcompany.com can and must be utilized.  Pertinent sites must be cited and defined as being accurate or fictionalized.
- The final pieces of output for the course involves a paper comparing the movies, comic, and books identified above and describing one's own personal experience.
- Lastly, the candidate must answer in a 10 page paper this question:

What do you really want?
