I like how Scott Adams describes the PHB as a "sociopath."  But without question, this is him.  This is my boss from last week when the project comes close to the deadline and he gave us a speech, "If you have to pull off some crazy hours, go do it.  Do whatever it takes to get this project done."  This is obviously the same as what's being said in this comic.  Ironic about the timing?

Another interesting thing about my boss is that he's never seen Office Space nor read any Dilbert cartoon.  I think it must be quite common for the worst bosses in the world to never have heard of these things.  I keep thinking of Dorian Grey where if they suddenly witnessed a portrait of themselves, they'd up vanishing from realizing their own hideousness.  Either that, or perhaps that they never hear of these things is part of self-denial.
