i made the mistake of seeing this movie. boy, when you a dragon that looks that gay (even though the dragon is a she), you should stop right then and there. an utterly movie. i think the only thing it was attempting to accomplish was another gratuitous, fantasy, large-scale battle. but that sucked because i couldn't see a damn thing since it was so damn dark. if i was a child growing up with these movies abound, i'd be pretty cynical with the crap around me. parents, if you're going to take a kid to watch the stereotypical farmboy/idiot/hero, just save a few bucks at the theatre and buy the Star Wars triology. you don't need a monstrous budget to tell a satisfying story, especially if you keep re-telling the same goddamn one over and over! on a sidenote to Hollywood: it's not that i absolutely hate you people, but it's the fact that you have a limited selection of pastiche to choose from. nothing you produce these days is original, from the heart, and sends a powerful message that can be truly felt, unless it's pay us a shitload of money so we get fatter.
