such a funny word. but living in california and the US just hyper extends this notion into the other direction. i just hate it here. i think most of the population is composed of ear wax since the collective brain power here makes the rest of the world dark in absorbing all remaining brilliance. West Hollywood drivers are filled with coke shots or perhaps it's the proliferation of cellphones which reportedly damages brain cells that have sapped the little remaining sponge people have in their skulls here. All i can say is that i have less and less motivation to be a US citizen than ever. Such a shame that we lack a visa exchange program so that we could trade with someone who'd give a shit about being an uncle sam paying cronie. i'd prefer spending my cash on something socially useful but it's nearly impossible when you get raped by the government. right now i really don't care about work nor much else. i'm not afraid of losing my job because if i did, i'd simply move back to japan. heck, i'd consider dropping my us citizenship the way things are going here. perhaps i never noticed it before, but the way of life here is so hollow. it's this ignorant bliss people have here in living this lie of sitting at home, thinking they have something in property, a TV they watch to eliminate their daily misery, and unhealthy food which temporarily boost their endorphins to motivate them for another day of drudgery. i hate this so-called lifestyle. it isn't culture. you can't call utter decadence culture. it's just a distinegration of society. i'm considering cancelling cable because it's an utter waste of money. cable tv has nothing interesting or even remotely educational. you can call the discovery channel, etc. educational but why watch it when you can read about it on the net? what a mistake it was to allow the cable company to dupe me into getting this so-called free cable service. nothing is free. hell i might as well even get rid of my cable modem service since that's too costly. either way, the only thing cheap in LA these days is fast food. funny how an artery burger is cheaper than a salad (which often isn't even decent). i think it's a conspiracy by the FDA to keep Americans passive. they approve fattening foods with high sugar content to keep people buying into the heavily commercialized (fast) food industry. but it's utterly sick. along this train of thought is my theory that the FDA and government want people to be obese and have diabetes. the higher the stroke rate, the higher the life insurance and health care cost. helps the rich hospitals and doctors despite that middle america is slowly killing itself off. fast food doesn't kill the rich since they don't eat crap like this (unless your name is Lea Thompson or Sally Struthers). also, why would upper class america care about health insurance premiums? the cost of that is nothing for them compared to the average american. and the government isn't going to implement universal health coverage anytime soon. then think about those people who are obese or on the track of becoming obese. they remain passive and content because they are too fat to be active. instead, they lie like the typical consumer at home watching TV while eating a bag of Dorritos. how can they repel the government's oppression when they can't even get off their couch to change channels? i'm telling you it's a real conspiracy.
