hit treasure island this time around. very good hotel. nice location, got a nice price, and the amenities were swell. they even gave us a pair of free spa passes (we showed up 1 hour before closing time)! went downtown to play craps at the California. not sure if i'd want to stay there but we did well, making about $60/person. for food buffets, we ate at mirage, bellagio, and paris and tried the coffee shop at TI. nice spot. although vegas is famous for buffets, they also have some very good coffee shops that run 24 hours. no point in going to a poisonous Surf Town to spend the rest of your trip with your face dipped in the porcelain can. definitely, i'd love to go again before hitting up Tokyo. not sure where to stay but i'll definitely look at TI again.
