This year my friend Shoko will host another Hanabi party at her apartment in Odaiba. It was quite nice last year so I expect the same this year. Many friends from work appeared and this probably will be one of the last big events I attend while I'm in Japan. Last year was so much fun. Tons of alcohol. Cute girls. Good companions. Great memories. People should host more of these things. Some of the highlights include Urs cooking (always a pleasant experience with him making a killer salad, pasta, and an incredibly alcoholic punch). We had a pretty good view last year although we had to spend time in the crowd since her apartment view is blocked by the bridge. Still it's always an enjoyable experience to be invited to a good friend's place and enjoy yourself, forgetting the bullshit of work and getting closer with people that you know.
