Lost Ark: Another Yorn Down

I took my Shadowhunter into Yorn the other night just before the maintenance to get her started. Started out with some of my normal dailies from Feiton, etc. which don’t take long for my three highest ilvl characters along with some Chaos Dungeons. After that, I spent the time doing the first half of Yorn on my Shadowhunter, before feeling exhausted and ordering some food for a break.

After taking a nap and watching AEW Rampage (which was pretty bland to me), I hopped back on to finish up the Yorn stuff. What’s nice about Yorn is that it’s not a very long area. It’s mostly irritating due to the large number of scenarios they throw at you which make the zone feel long. Overall, it goes by fairly quickly as long as you skip all the cut scenes and fly through the dialog. But now that puts my Shadowhunter on her routine to just focus on dailies for a little while until she hits ilvl 960.

Unlike Feiton though, Yorn’s dailies suck ass. They can be painful for no good reason and you don’t feel like you’re progressing anything. So while I’m on the Yorn continent with her, I’m just going to do other dailies, including the Hypnos’s Eyes one since that grants some nice rewards. Also, I decided to start working on the Rapport with Blue-Eyed Calvasus since he offers some of the best end Rapport rewards at the Trusted level.

In addition, I’m slowly trying to get my Gunslinger’s ilvl to 600 so I can buy her Tier 2 gear. I decided to stop progressing Rohendel’s dailies until I can get my Gunslinger through Rohendel. In the meantime, I’m mostly going to do my normal daily route with her to pick up a few extra Leapstones.

My Glavier hit ilvl 420+ which will allow her to start doing the final level of the Vern Chaos dungeons. I had a better experience with the Blackfang’s Den daily and am working on another nearby one. I was going to do Tooki Island with her but the reward from that daily kinda sucks and I figure it’s just easier doing the Monastery one for a few extra easy Leapstones.

With my Paladin, I finally unlocked the Lopang dailies. I screwed up when I ported off the island back to Arthentine before picking up part of the daily. So I might just come back later since the dailies here aren’t as pressing as others.

I was going to level up my Berserker a bit more but I got tired and demotivated towards the end. Although I’m not completely burnt out just yet, I’m getting to that stage where the urge to do more isn’t as strong as it was a week or two ago. But it could just be my general energy levels being down as well as how dead the guild is, which has made the experience less than ideal. Usually, when the high end progress slows down significantly or that I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel, my interest starts to dwindle significantly. So I might be at that point.
