Lost Ark: Feiton 2nd Time

Today, we had a reset day along with a last minute, late night maintenance break. But I managed to push my Gunlancer through Feiton the main Feiton quest line and prepare him to start grinding the Chaos Dungeons. I will say that in retrospect that annoying stealth quest’s end boss was more annoying than the quest itself.

I knew that going in below 1302 ilvl would make the zone a royal pain especially as a Gunlancer. Certain fights were just horrid because of how slow a Gunlancer is. And you get bounced around a lot without being able to charge up your meter to turn your shields on, which makes the fights even worse. Not to mention your damage just feels royally gimped. That said everything is doable and I think I can say that I’m pretty comfortable with that stealth quest so it shouldn’t be as bad on my alts going forward.

Unfortunately, I had already done all my Chaos Dungeons for the day so I couldn’t do anymore progression on my Gunlancer, which was fine because I can do just do Feiton related activities tomorrow and grind out for a few weeks while my sorceress eeks her way out of Feiton and into Punika.

In turn, with the maintenance going on, I decided with an hour or so remaining to move my Shadowhunter into Yorn. I spent some time fishing because I’m going to start needing those life materials for honing and am aware of a very good, peaceful fishing spot near the starting zone. After that, I put her into the city and probably will work on getting her through the Yorn quest line starting tomorrow.

Along with that I’m going to be pushing my Gunslinger towards Rohendel where my alts are going to do their Chaos Dungeons and just funnel their mats to her, except my Glavier. I might also be forced to start doing Guardian Raids on my Artillerist to get Leapstones for her. If I can get my Sorceress into Punika and finish up the quest line there, I’ll have at least two characters that can do Guardian Raids for some spare honing materials.

While questing on my Glavier today, I got severely pissed off at the Blackfang’s Den daily. I had been waiting around for the pirates to manifest but wasn’t able to complete it because everyone killed the leader too quickly. It really stunk and made me think that I should be using my Una’s free tickets to do that one or perhaps complete it later in the day so that I can be invited to a group.

I did a small amount of leveling on my Berserker towards the end. I’m trying to work on the Adventure Tome for Yudia while I’m at it as well as collect all the Mokoko seeds. While it shouldn’t be too tough finishing it up, the real stinker probably will be the Rapport.

Truthfully, there’s not a lot of great rewards from Yudia from where I’m at but I just want to get the Ignea Token. I feel getting that Purify skill rune is going to be a big deal so I’m going to be spending more time on my Berserker in these zones than usual. I might just buy up the Collectibles if I come short. So far the lower level areas are not expensive so I’d prefer to spend my time progressing rather than wasting time farming.

Overall, today was semi-productive. I cut my time short mostly because I needed to do more writing but also just felt like trash the entire day. I probably took two naps and struggled to stay up. Part of it is allergies another part was food coma. But I got woken up really early because the apartment complex’s repair crew were up making a ton of noise. It sucked since I couldn’t easily go back to sleep but felt too physically terrible to do much else. At least, I’m done with Feiton on another character with regards to the quests.
